Slow fashion brand FJØR STUDIOS® is situated between the steep mountains of Norway. Luxurious leather hand bags and accessories are made in cooperation with ethically conscious manufacturers in India.
Living slower lives with less belongings has been at the core of the brand’s philosophy since it’s beginning in 2013.

CERTIFICATIONS
Our leather manufacturers are Gold rated according to Leather Working Group (LWG) - which aims to promote sustainable business practices and create alignment on environmental priorities.
We cooperate with Flo-Cert and Fair Trade certified textile manufacturers for our woven and knitted clothing, which provide certifications of entire production cycle from fibre to finished garment.
Fjør Studios® founder Marita Hamran
Fjør Studios® was founded by award winning designer Marita Hamran in 2013, a norwegian 37 year old wife and mother of two. Hamran holds a degree in Fashion Design & Modelism from ESMOD Oslo and is self taught in leather craft.
Marita Hamran was awarded the prestiguos Golden Needle prize presented by Her Royal Highness Crown Princess Mette Marit upon ESMOD graduation ceremony in 2008.
With 10 years experience as fashion designer and Production Manager from the fashion industry in Oslo, Hamran set out to create luxurious fashion to women building a sustainable wardrobe. Fjør Studios® is one of the first start-ups in the luxury lifestyle brands in the fashion business focusing on consciously made leather bags and accessories.
