Material

Cork is the shell of the cork-oak, a noble tree with very special characteristics, which grows mainly in Mediterranean regions, especially in Portugal. Where there are over 720 000 hectares of cork-oak forest.
Its shell is extracted, providing a versatile vegetable fiber that can be used in many objects, while in the forest the trees renews another cycle of nine years after which it can be peeled back again.

Just like leather, this material is natural, recyclable and durable.
